Your Luxury Scottish Castle Wedding DayWith a multitude of settings to choose from within the Castle and grounds, your wedding will be entirely bespoke. Your dedicated wedding planner will provide help, advice and support throughout the planning process to ensure your special day is perfect.

Ceremony
From the medieval to the elegant, the great outdoors to the intimate indoors, there are many locations to choose from for your unique ceremony.
You are also welcome to have your ceremony in a church elsewhere and then return to Dundas Castle to continue the celebrations.

Courtyard
The white stone fountain and arched doors in the Courtyard create a gorgeous backdrop for your ceremony. The Courtyard can hold a maximum of 200 guests.
Great Hall
Located in our 600 year Auld Keep, this breathtaking setting creates a romantic atmosphere to say your vows. This space can hold a maximum of 110 guests.
Lawn
With a 500 acre Estate on the door step, you can choose to be married with the Castle as your backdrop. We allow a maximum of 200 guests for an outdoor ceremony.
Main Hall
Situated in the heart of the Castle, the Main Hall has a warm and romantic atmosphere. It benefits from the wonderfully light stained glass window, grand staircase and gorgeous panelled walls.
Drinks Reception
Treat your guests to a chilled glass of fizz or a personalised cocktail while you have a moment away from your guests, this time will also allow you to take some photographs to capture your special day. Lawn games can be set up if you would like additional entertainment or your guests can just relax and soak up the atmosphere in our cosy Drawing Room or Library.

Armoury
Located within our Auld Keep, the Armoury features an original open fire place, creating a cosy atmosphere. The Armoury can hold a maximum of 30 guests.
Front Lawn
Enjoy having the Castle as your backdrop while your guests enjoy a chilled drink in the sun, perfect for a summer wedding. We allow a maximum of 200 guests for an outdoor drinks reception.
Main Castle
Make use of the main Castle rooms such as the Library, Drawing Room and Front Hall for your guests to relax and enjoy a glass of fizz to start the celebrations. This space can hold a maximum of 200 guests.
Evening Reception
Continue the celebrations with a delicious wedding breakfast followed by dancing the night away. Whether you are looking for an intimate setting or a larger location, there are several options available.
We are partnered with Heritage Portfolio who will provide you with five-star dining throughout your celebration. Personalise your menu and enjoy a tasting before the big day to ensure everything is perfect. For more information on dining at Dundas, click here.
Pavilion
Our Pavilion is a permanent structure with all the facilities you could desire for a wedding breakfast and dance. It is a blank canvas that can be decorated to your exact specifications. The Pavilion can hold a maximum of 200 guests.
Stag Chamber
Located in our Auld Keep, the Stag Chamber has original stone walls and a vaulted ceiling which is perfect for an intimate candlelit feast. The Stag Chamber can hold a maximum of 26 guests.
Croquet Room
The elegant Croquet Room has a grand open fire, crystal chandelier and views over the extensive lawns. The Croquet Room can hold a maximum of 60 guests for dinner.
Special additions
We have an exclusive list of known and recommended suppliers that can help you create your dream day. From photographers to bakers, stationery and bands, you will be provided with a five star service and luxury products. Your wedding planner can help you to decide which company to choose if you have a specific design you would like to create.
Do you fancy bringing the night to a close with a showstopping finale? Why not add some fireworks or have a pipe band perform the traditional ‘Beating of the Retreat’.
For those who have chosen to have an extended stay at Dundas, our events team can organise entertainment for you across the Estate. Whisky tasting, falconry and clay pigeon shooting are all popular activities.
Stay a little while longer
With 17 charming bedrooms within the Castle, we can accommodate up to 37 adult guests and have additional beds for children.
Each room is complete with White Company linen, bathrobes, L’Occitane toiletries, Wifi and hot beverage facilities. Our House and Stables rooms also include Tassimo machines and complimentary whisky. Each bedroom is individually designed with some features, including fabric walls, original roll-top baths and a four-poster bed.
