From the medieval to the elegant, the great outdoors to the intimate indoors, there are many locations to choose from for your unique ceremony.

Whether you would like a religious, humanist or civil ceremony, there are a number of spectacular settings at Dundas for you to exchange your vows.  Humanist ceremonies are legally binding in Scotland so there is no need for a separate civil ceremony and our team of experts will be on hand to help and advise you to ensure that the legal requirements are met.

Making your way up the fairytale staircase within the medieval tower of the Auld Keep takes you to the magnificent Great Hall which, with its vaulted ceiling and original brickwork, creates the most romantic setting you can imagine.  For a more classic location you can marry under the chandelier of the

Croquet Room within the main house. This elegant Georgian room has an open fire and floor to ceiling windows that offer spectacular views across the estate.

Outdoor weddings are becoming more popular and with a choice of backdrops and indoor alternatives should the weather be unfavourable, there is no reason that you can’t say ‘I do’ in a unique and dramatic setting.

Hollie and Morvern, our wedding coordinators, have created a ‘quick facts’ sheet which will give you all of the information that you require for choosing your perfect location at Dundas Castle.
