We usually write a summary for each blog, however, Siobhan and Sean gave such wonderful feedback from their wedding day, we felt it told the whole story…

“Everyone at Dundas was extremely helpful from day dot, including Sir Jack who popped in to say hello during one of our visits. We had our heart set on the Auld Keep, having a few members of the family coming up from England, it was a no brainer for the traditional Scottish wedding we both wanted.

From booking our date right through to the day itself I could not have asked for more from the team, being a Capricorn I’m a bit of a perfectionist but Morvern and Genevieve were more than happy to answer my plethora of requests. Dropping everything off at Dundas the day before, I knew everything would be in hand for the best day of our lives, and boy was it! From the converted horsebox Jazz piano bar providing a beautiful setting for guests arriving and throughout the drinks reception, to the 10 Mustangs we had parked along the front of the Castle giving us an engine roar after we said I do, it was an eclectic wedding but so very us. Walking down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme tune and having our wedding party read the Scot’s blessing to wish us well at the end of the ceremony are beautiful memories and – the sweet tooth in me – will always be thankful for the wedding cake left in our bedrooms on the night of our wedding – thank you! The little nightcap with our families at the end of a whirlwind day followed by an outstanding breakfast really made it a day we’ll never forget.

I always wondered when people say the wedding day was the best day of their – was it though? But hand on heart, I can honestly say the 22^nd June 2019 WAS the best day of our lives. Dundas will always have a special place in our hearts and we are forever grateful for making our wedding day so perfect – and to team brilliant at Blue Sky for capturing it so perfectly.” – Siobhan and Sean
