We love hearing from our ‘Dundas Couples’ after their big day. In fact, we still hear from couples who were married here over 10 years ago! Here are some comments that we’ve received.
From the beginning of our wedding planning journey, we knew we wanted a beautiful and dramatic venue for our big day and the moment we drove up the long drive to the stunning Dundas Castle, we knew we’d found the one. Start to finish, the planning of the day was perfect – our coordinator, Aileen, kept on top of our numerous changes to numbers, places and people, always keeping us on the right track. The whole day was just filled with joy, laughter, and love. It really was the best day of our lives and we wish we could do it all again.

It was truly the most magical week of our lives and we have the whole Dundas team to thank for taking us every step of the way so that we were able to have that magical time. Ourselves and our guests can’t stop raving about the castle and the whole week culminating in the wedding. Our guests are fondly calling it the wedding of the century (which I think might be hyperbole, but it certainly was perfection)!
The planning had been impeccable, every detail thoughtfully considered, all thanks to our incredible wedding planner, Aileen. She transformed our dream into a reality with her expertise, organisation skills, and just genuinely being the person we could always rely on. It was a day made perfect by everyone involved. As we looked around at the smiles and tears of happiness around us, we knew that this was just the start of our incredible journey to follow.

We could not have asked for a more incredible experience at Dundas! We began planning our international wedding not knowing what to expect, but immediately when meeting (over zoom) with the Dundas team, we knew it would be the perfect location for our intimate wedding. You would think planning a wedding so far away would be a logistical challenge, especially not being in person to meet with suppliers. However, the team at Dundas was impeccable both with the level of detail and support provided in the year leading up to the day and also in the suppliers they recommended to us. From the moment we arrived to Dundas for the wedding celebrations, every detail was thought of, they worked seamlessly with all of our other fantastic suppliers, and they could not have been more kind to all of our guests. We had the most incredible time, could not recommend Dundas more, and can’t thank them enough for making this international wedding everything we hoped for!
We had the most perfect wedding day at Dundas Castle. Each member of the staff was so kind and extremely helpful leading up to and on our special day. The day of our wedding, we had absolutely zero stress, and we have the staff and all of the amazing vendors to thank for that. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day in Scotland, surrounded by our family and friends. Dundas Castle felt like home for a day, and we are so thankful to Sir Jack, Lady Lydia, and all of the staff for making our day truly perfect. From start to finish, we would not change a single thing about our wedding day and will always be incredibly grateful we chose Dundas as our wedding venue. It is a day we will forever cherish.
Travis and I are so pleased with how well everything was executed for our wedding at Dundas. From the moment we got onto the property we were blown away by the castle’s beauty. It is truly breathtaking and seeing the llamas and golden retrievers made it truly magical. Our wedding day could not have been more lovely, the auld keep is absolutely stunning and I feel so lucky to say I got to marry my best friend in a castle from the 1400s. The staff was exceptional and everything went so seamlessly. Everyone was so friendly and kind and I truly felt like a princess. Travis and I decided to have a destination micro-wedding after my struggle with breast cancer last year and it felt so amazing to be pampered and taken care of after such a difficult time. We were both blown away by our 2 day stay and our family and friends were as well. If I am ever in Scotland again I hope to visit this glorious place and relive some of the enchantment of the best day of our lives.
With the help of the entire Dundas Castle team, we truly had the fairytale wedding of our dreams. The exquisite venue was the most magnificent backdrop for our weekend, full of love and laughter. We wholeheartedly recommend Dundas Castle for celebrating any of life’s important moments. We will treasure the memories we made at Dundas Castle for the rest of our lives.

Dundas Castle was simply the most amazing experience of our lives. The 2-day wedding event was simply breathtaking. The staff, the grounds, and the entire experience was magical. I had been to many castle locations in Scotland, but Dundas had everything – my guests commented over and over again that our two-day wedding at Dundas was the best event they had ever been to. Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts for a spectacular experience at Dundas. We were so pleased we chose Dundas to help us celebrate this huge milestone in our lives. With impeccable care and consideration for detail and the professionalism shown from each and every staff member, Dundas exceeded our expectations.
We first visited Dundas Castle on a very cold, wet day in early January and instantly fell in love with it. We thought if it could look that spectacular on a miserable morning, then it would be a perfect wedding venue for any day of the year. We were lucky enough to spend two nights at the castle for our wedding in March and, though the rain stayed away, our families and friends were appreciative of the warm, cosy vibes created by the fireplaces in communal areas. The day itself was magical from start to finish with the venue staff running things seamlessly. They make it look effortless, though we’re sure it isn’t! Their attention to detail is excellent and no doubt contributed to the success of the day. We are still basking in the glow and have had countless comments from guests on how special it was. Thank you to all the Dundas team for helping us create lifelong memories!
On our wedding day, everything went perfectly to plan. If there was an issue, you can be sure the Dundas team sorted it before we even knew! There’s no denying Dundas is a spectacular setting for a wedding. Many of our guests commented on how special the castle was – traditional yet homely. The day went by in an absolute flash, so we are incredibly grateful for the support from the Dundas team and our suppliers in creating the memorable day we imagined. It really did feel like home!
