There are 17 bedrooms for your closest family and friends to enjoy and we will invite you to come to the Castle in advance of your wedding to allocate each room to your guests who are staying. These are a mix of twin, double and family rooms to perfectly suit your variety of guests.
We also have the romantic Boathouse on the loch which can be hired for the night of your wedding. This is booked independently of the Castle so please tell your coordinator if you would like to stay there. The Boathouse also makes the most spectacular mini-moon location.
Our caterers are Heritage Portfolio. They will work with you to create a delicious menu that will be perfect for you and your guests. Around 3 months before your wedding, you are invited to meet with your caterers for a tasting to make final decisions on your menu. It is worth noting that all of our food can be Halal and we are able to offer Kosher-style dishes.
We have worked with many different suppliers over the years. The incredibly positive experience we have had with a select few resulted in us creating a recommended suppliers list to help you to plan your perfect day. Speak to one of our wedding co-ordinators if you are looking for a specific service and they will be able to give you advice on which companies could suit the style of your day.
We would love to send you our Wedding Brochure with further details so please fill out an enquiry form or get in touch with us on: 0131 319 2039 to discuss your plans.
We have created a blog to detail everything that is included in the hire of Dundas Castle. You can view it by clicking here or email the team and we can send a PDF version.
In line with UK and Scottish Law, we are required to serve alcohol responsibly. As such, guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol into the venue. Dundas reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, or who appears to be inebriated.
Drugs (with the exception of prescription drugs) are strictly prohibited anywhere within the Castle, its grounds and car park. Any guests found to be taking or in the possession of drugs will be ejected from the premises and the police will be informed.
