01 Feb Real Wedding: Siwar and Johnny, August 2022
Siwar and Johnny’s wedding was a beautiful intimate celebration with just 14 guests.
The day before the wedding, the couple and their wedding party arrived to unwind and settle into Dundas.
Siwar, the elegant bride, prepared for her special day in our Winter bedroom with the help of her bridal party and mother. In our Billiards Room the groom, Johnny, waited patiently with his ushers and kept the nerves at bay with a game of pool. A bagpiper played while guests found their seats in the Castle Courtyard, delicately decorated with summer flowers.
The wedding ceremony was held in our Castle Courtyard beneath the warm summer rays, and it can be noted that this was an exceedingly beautiful occasion. The couple had newlywed portraits taken within the Castle grounds during their Champagne reception, capturing memorable moments from their day.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Croquet Room, where guests enjoyed a three-course meal of delicious Scottish delicacies. The celebration ended with dancing in the Main Hall as the sun set on their perfect wedding day.
