Sara and Joseph celebrated their wedding at Dundas Castle, joined by 23 of their closest family members and friends over two days of intimate festivities. Once the guests had arrived and settled in, everyone enjoyed an enthralling game of murder mystery while dinner was served in the Main Hall.
On the wedding day, events started with a relaxed breakfast in the Croquet Room. Sara began preparations before stealing a moment for a first look with her groom, Joseph, in the Main Hall. Sara and her bridal party were piped to the ceremony in the Auld Keep, where the couple embraced the Scottish traditions of handfasting and drinking from the quaich. A spectacular owl ring bearer created an unforgettable moment in their day.
Following the ceremony, Sara and Joseph made their way to the roof of the Auld Keep, where they had photographs taken overlooking the Firth of the Forth, before rejoining their guests in the main Castle for the drinks reception and to cut their cake. Dinner was served in the Stag Chamber, which was beautifully decorated with deep autumnal purple flowers that complemented the bride’s bouquet. Celebrations continued in the main Castle with an evening of dancing and a performance by drag queen Dragarazzi.
