Isabelle and Lawrence’s wedding was an exquisite two-day affair with nearly 100 guests. The day before was a pre-wedding celebration at its finest. The couple hosted an outdoor drinks celebration with the Castle’s façade as the backdrop. Hay bales, a crackling firepit, and lively lawn games created a relaxing setting for this summer soiree. Once evening set in, Isabelle and Lawrence enjoyed their final moments together as anticipation built towards meeting at the altar the next day.

As the wedding day arrived, a bustling morning of preparations commenced, filled with a charming ‘first look’ and creating precious memories with family and friends. As guests arrived, they were greeted by a traditional Scottish bagpiper who led them to the 600-year Auld Keep. Once the groomsmen were in place, the ceremonial bell was rung, signalling the imminent arrival of the bride. All eyes were drawn to Isabelle as guests from the Great Hall and Minstrel’s Gallery above watched her walk down the aisle.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds ascended to the Keep’s roof, capturing their first moments together as a married couple, while the wedding party moved to the House for a drinks reception. The happy couple then were piped down the staircase leading to the Main Hall, introduced as the new Mr and Mrs Arnold and cut their cake with the Dundas sword.

Later that afternoon, guests were welcomed to the Pavilion, which was decorated beautifully with hanging tealights, cascading green vines, and elegant candelabras. Speeches began, creating rapturous laughter and some emotional moments, before guests tucked into a delectable three-course dinner that pleased every palate.

As night approached, the dancefloor ignited with energy, and the spotlight shifted to the first dances. Isabelle changed into a second gorgeous dress, and the night unfolded into the wee hours, with guests enjoying the celebrations right to the final dance.
