Heidi and Jack enjoyed a beautiful autumn wedding at Dundas. Their day was full of personal touches and unforgettable moments, including Heidi handmaking her own wedding dress and creating their gorgeous floral displays, and Jack making a beautiful wedding cake.
Their intimate gathering of 41 guests created a lovely atmosphere. Heidi and Jack tied the knot in our 600 year Auld Keep, followed by a delicious dinner in the Croquet Room. Our dedicated caterer served a fully vegetarian menu bursting with flavour, including tasty canapes, a three-course wedding breakfast, and late-night snacks. The wedding party danced the night away in the Front Hall and enjoyed roasting s’mores over the firepits late into the evening.
“Dundas Castle was an incredible venue to have our wedding. All of the staff at Dundas were extremely helpful in organising the event and bringing our vision into reality! We enjoyed working with Jill on the planning process.
Our wedding day was magnificent. The staff at Dundas, specifically our duty manager Aileen, helped the day proceed without a hitch. Guests were directed to the correct parts of the castle, provided the appropriate seating arrangements, and even umbrellas when it rained. All our guests loved the venue and enjoyed relaxing, wandering the grounds, dancing to a ceilidh, and sitting by the bonfire pits. The two of us have been reminiscing about the day ever since.
