20 Aug REAL WEDDING: ANDRA AND CODRIN, JUNE 2026
Codrin and Andra celebrated their wedding with a four day celebration at Dundas Castle, bringing family and friends together for a series of special moments. The celebrations began with a surprise pipe band, followed by afternoon tea and a summer grill. The second day guests took part in highland games, whisky tasting and in the evening had an intimate dinner in the Stag Chamber.
The third day was the main event, with the couple marrying in the Courtyard before drinks in the Main Hall, dinner in the Croquet Room and an evening reception in the Castle. The celebrations continued the following day with a relaxed day at the Castle and a final dinner, bringing the celebrations to a close.
” Our Dundas story began one year before our wedding, on the day we first drove up to the castle through the magnificent rhododendrons in full bloom. From the very moment we arrived, we were wrapped in an indescribable sense of magic—as though the castle itself was telling us that something truly extraordinary was waiting for us there.
It was right…
From the warm welcome we received from Louise, through nine wonderful months of planning with Jill, and finally to Ellice guiding us through the last stretch, we felt like we had been welcomed into a home, cared for by friends, and entrusted to people who genuinely wanted our story to be every bit as special as we dreamed it could be.
Our wedding was a four-day celebration, and from the moment our guests arrived until the final farewell, every detail unfolded flawlessly. Every request—no matter how unusual—was met with an unwavering willingness to help. The team’s presence was constant, yet discreet: reassuring when we needed them, invisible when we didn’t.
Because of them, we were free to do the most precious thing of all—to live every moment, to laugh, to cry, to celebrate, to be fully present with the people we love.
Dundas Castle is undeniably breath taking, but its greatest treasure is – without question – its people. Their professionalism is exceptional, but it is their kindness, warmth and genuine care that transform an extraordinary venue into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Looking back now, we realise that the magical feeling we sensed as we first passed through those gates did not come from the castle alone—it came from the remarkable people who give it its soul.
For that, we will forever be grateful.”
