07 Jun Real Wedding: Abigail and David, April 2022
Abigail and David first viewed Dundas Castle in the summer of 2020. Despite all the uncertainty caused by the Covid pandemic at the time, they knew that Dundas was the venue for them. They set their hearts on their ceremony taking place in the Courtyard; not only were they the first outside ceremony of the year, but they were also the first happy couple to enjoy the Dundas tree swing.
“From the moment we walked down the stairs on our tour of the Castle, we knew that Dundas was the venue for us.
“The team were amazing in every way; from Morvern, to Katy and to Mahi who was truly incredible with us on the wedding day and made everything feel so smoothly run. It was like having an extra bridesmaid right by my side! The whole team went the extra mile to make sure we had no worries or stresses on the day.
“Choosing this venue is actually like getting 3 venues in 1; with your choice of ceremony location (the Courtyard was simply stunning), to the main Castle for drinks and then onto the Pavilion for the reception.
“We think every guest commented on how stunning the venue was. We are so glad we chose it for our special day as it surpassed everything we had imagined. It really was a fairy tale wedding.
“The grounds allowing for fireworks to finish off the night was such a beautiful memory shared among our nearest and dearest; I think everyone was in awe at what a spectacular ending this was. The whole day was perfect in every way. A day we will never ever forget”. – Abigail & David
