Irene and her guests travelled to Dundas Castle from Illinois, USA for an once in a lifetime trip to celebrate her husband’s 50th birthday. Irene kept many of the activities and excursions a surprise for her guests (even arranging a surprise vow renewal in our Auld Keep!) so each day just kept getting better and better!
They stayed at the Castle for 4 nights, and enjoyed everything from falconry and clay pigeon shooting, to pipers and ceilidh dancing, to dinner and fireworks. Working with Private Concierge Scotland we also arranged trips for them to visit Edinburgh and our surrounding areas.
Our Stag Chamber was the perfect room for Irene and her guests to hold a fantastic Scottish dinner to celebrate Mark’s birthday. Working with 88 Events and Planet Flowers, the room looked amazing.
Scottish entertainment from Reel Time Events was the perfect way to keep energy high after dinner.
Irene arranged a spectacular fireworks display to mark their amazing trip.
