17 Dec Merry Christmas from Dundas Castle
We are feeling very festive here at Dundas Castle now that the tree is up in the hallway. Each year we choose our tree from the Hopetoun Estate and this year we have another full and perfectly formed tree hand picked by Marty, our Head Groundskeeper. Lady Lydia has literally decked the halls with boughs of holly… and the Drawing Room, Croquet Room and Library…
The ingredients for the mulled wine and mince pies are bought and the Christmas carol medley song sheets have been printed for our Christmas party next week.
The Christmas cards have been designed and sent (courtesy of Lisa’s tenacity at persuading Beech and Burn to sit still) and the estate is covered in a thick layer of crisp white snow… I think we’re all set for a fun festive season.
So all this leaves us to do is to wish you all a very Happy Christmas from the team at Dundas Castle!
