17 Aug Real Wedding: Laura and Seth, June 2022
Laura and Seth enjoyed an extended two-day celebration at Dundas. On the first day of celebrations, guests were served a decadent afternoon tea upon arrival including delights such as smoked salmon palmier, fruit scones with clotted cream, and apricot and pistachio Bakewell tart. Following a day of relaxing at the Castle, they were served a delicious supper in our 600-year-old Stag Chamber as the excitement built for the wedding day.
The following morning, guests were served breakfast in the Croquet Room as preparations for the ceremony were underway. Laura and Seth chose to tie the knot with a traditional Scottish ceremony in our atmospheric Auld Keep, with its dramatic vaulted ceiling and original exposed stone walls.
Once the nuptials were complete, they had several beautiful photographs taken throughout the Castle and grounds while their guests enjoyed a drinks reception. The wedding party were then welcomed into the Croquet Room for a three-course dinner before dancing commenced in the front hall.
