Emma and Craig were joined by their closest friends and family for a two-day celebration at Dundas. In true Scottish fashion and as a sign of good luck, the weather was showery all day. However, this didn’t dampen the wedding party’s spirit, and the plan to be married under a stretch tent on the front lawn continued. It was decorated beautifully with gorgeous pink florals that lined the aisle. Cosy blankets were provided, ensuring everyone was warm and dry while watching the couple make their vows.
The celebrations continued in the Main Hall and Drawing Room, where bottles of Champagne were popped and delicious canapes served. Emma and Craig enjoyed a quiet, intimate moment and a heartfelt private toast, allowing them to savour the precious early moments of their marriage before joining the drinks reception. Guests were treated to a unique wedding favour, as the bride and groom organised an artist to draw them in their finery. The drawings served as perfect keepsakes, encapsulating memories of the day.
The journey to the Pavilion was a picturesque affair, with umbrellas bobbing in unison as the wedding party followed the couple to their reception. The wedding breakfast began with sincere speeches, much joy and laughter and the clinking of glasses. The Something Blue Bar made a charming appearance, offering a selection of drinks and a quirky element to the day.
As the evening celebrations continued, the dance floor became a hive of activity with an awesome DJ set following the first dance. As the guests worked up an appetite, they tucked into delicious fish and chips and woodfired pizzas, perfect to satisfy the cravings of the lively crowd.
