We viewed around 7 other venues before we came across Dundas, and we couldn’t agree on any of them. Our tour of Dundas with Louise changed that. The venue combined all the best elements of the others we’d seen and then some. It’s so rare to find a venue that gives you so many options for ceremony and reception location, as well as being historic and really just beautiful inside and outside. We drove away delighted as we’d finally agreed that Dundas was where we wanted to say ‘I do’. Phew.

From then on, and even though I was an anxious and stressed bride-to-be from signing our contract to the wedding morning, working with Dundas was a dream. From giving us extra tours to accommodate all our important people in smaller, pandemic-friendly groups, to answering our many questions, assisting with difficult supplier logistics and giving us inspiration when we’d run dry, Dundas made our venue experience effortless.

Having yourself coordinating in the lead up and on the day was just the icing on the cake. You were so helpful, going above and beyond (especially with piping logistics), and the kind of person we’d want by our side in any stressful situation (or just general life) thanks to your no nonsense (but kind!) approach. Thank you again.

We’re only sad we can’t relive it (the day, not the planning – it’s still fresh!) but will try our best by taking walks in the grounds or returning to our wedding night home, the boathouse.
