We know that event organisers have to walk that fine line between creating an event that is inspiring and a little bit different, and yet is also tried and tested so that there are no ‘unwelcome surprises’. With this in mind we have launched some new and exciting activity packages that can be combined with a successful event held here at Dundas Castle.
We have come up with some unique activity package options that can be combined with an event here at the castle. By working with partners who we know and trust we are able to offer an exhilarating boat trip on the Forth or a relaxing fishing experience on a private loch in the Scottish borders. These activities are perfect for team building, a well earned incentive or as an inspirational break between conferences.
Sailing on the Forth
Port Edgar Marina is situated in South Queensferry, only 10 minutes from Dundas Castle. Using either a Keelboat or power boat (RIB), your clients will cruise the Forth with a skipper who will teach them how to helm the boat themselves. There are options for a cruise of the islands or even a private trip to Inch Colm, one of the islands on the Forth. Should you wish for us to arrange a stop off along the way, clients are able to enjoy lunch or a drink in Aberdour or another of the quaint villages along the coastline.
Unique fishing experience
In conjunction with our partner, Alba Fishing, clients are able to enjoy a unique fishing experience on the secluded and beautiful Spieraig Loch. Clients will be driven from the castle to the loch which is located in Peebles in the Scottish Borders, only 25 minutes from Dundas. On the loch there are two boats available and plenty of safe bank fishing. A gourmet lunch is included along with wine, whisky, snacks for the transfer drive, fishing tackle and waterproofs.
