Dundas of Dundas, Book of Charters

Dundas Castle’s original Auld Keep is entering into its 600th year and we want to celebrate!

In accordance with the Julian Calendar which was used in the 15th century and ran from March to March, our Auld Keep’s 600th year has only just begun and we want to celebrate right up until the official birthday of its Charter on 3rd March 2017.

It is astounding to think this beautiful building has been standing for so long and seen so much, from Oliver Cromwell to WWII soldiers to every wedding couple who has made their most sacred vows, each person and every event has added to the history that the walls hold. We think that’s what makes this building so special.

Something auld, something new and a special deal for you

Book your wedding to take place within this special year, and we will celebrate with you by adding six complimentary bedrooms to your package for you and your guests to enjoy. You will also be presented with a personalised ‘love lock’ on your wedding day which will become part of the history of the Keep for years to come.

This offer is for all new weddings which are booked and take place from now until March 2017.
